IRENE A. CAMPBELL (nee Murphy), age 87; loving wife of the late Thomas; mother of Sheila McClure (Rob); grandmother of Kate McClure; daughter of the late Lauretta (nee Bombalicki) and William Murphy; sister of the late Pat Murphy (Ann); sister-in-law of Ned Campbell and the late Robert Campbell; aunt of many. Irene was a graduate of Lourdes Academy in Cleveland and Ursuline College in Pepper Pike. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and teacher. She taught elementary as well as high school and taught many students from across the Cleveland area during her years working at the Cleveland Health Education Museum. Irene's love of children and her belief in the importance of education led to her many years of service work with the Christ Child Society and the P.E.O. Sisterhood.  Passed away June 24, 2020. Funeral Mass Monday, June 29, St. Ladislas Church (2345 Bassett Rd., Westlake) at 10 A.M. Private interment Lakewood Park Cemetery.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., SUNDAY 1-3 P.M. WHERE SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE OBSERVED AND FACEMASKS ARE ENCOURAGED.
