JAMES J. FUDALE, age 91, beloved husband of 67 years of Jacqueline (nee Clowser); loving father of Jean Laughlin (Curt), James Joseph (deceased), James (Anita), Joe (Cheryl), Jeff (Ann) and Jody Carlson (Todd); proud grandfather of Curtiss Laughlin, Carrie Ball, Christopher Laughlin, James Fudale, Teresa Bean, Brittany Fudale (deceased), Joseph, Cassidy, Jacob and Brendan Fudale, and Kacy, Conner and Tanner Carlson; great-grandfather of Jalen and Jaci Ball, Christian and Caden Laughlin, and Makiya and Paxton Laughlin; loving son of the late Mary (nee Bayda) and Frank Fudale of Maynard, OH; dear brother of the late William Fudale of Willoughby, OH. James was a music educator from 1958 until 1993 with 32 years serving the Berea City School District. James was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1952-1954. He enjoyed traveling in his recreational vehicle with his wife and playing music professionally and at family functions. James was the founder of the Berea Community Band and volunteered his time at Berea High School with the music program following his retirement. Passed away April 30, 2024. Funeral Mass Monday, May 6, St. Mary's Church (250 Kraft St., Berea) at 10 A.M. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (Seville). Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of BEREA, 86 ADALBERT ST. OFF FRONT ST. (LOCATED IN THE POLISH VILLAGE HISTORIC DISTRICT), SUNDAY, MAY 5, 1-4 P.M.
