JAMES PATRICK GANNON, age 66, a long-time resident of the Athens, OH area, passed away October 22, 2017. He died one day shy of celebrating 24 years of marriage to his beloved wife, Judith "Jody" (nee Wilson). Brother of Thomas Francis Gannon, III and Gregory Lawrence Gannon (Joanne Walsh); uncle of Patrick Joseph Gannon and Megan Elizabeth Gannon. He was the son of the late Rosemary Catherine (nee Raith) and Thomas Francis Gannon, Jr. James grew up in Shaker Heights, OH. He was a retired school teacher for the Athens Middle School.
