JAMES ALBERT GOFORTH, age 74, beloved husband of the late Mary Jean (nee Kozar). Loving father of Diane Adlard of Rocky River, Frank (deceased), and James (Jennifer) of Rootstown. Adoring grandfather of Colin Goforth (deceased), Quinn and Kyle Adlard, Faith, James and Abigail Goforth. He is survived by many brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. Korean War Army Veteran. Passed away peacefully April 2, 2009. Mr Goforth was born in Barrett, West Virginia and was a longtime resident of Rocky River, Ohio. He owned Goforths Deli on Detroit Road. He retired from the International Salt Company (Cargill Salt) after working there for many years. Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 8, 2009, St. Christopher Church (20141 Detroit Road, Rocky River) at 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
