James Connell Kennedy was born September 17, 1930 and left us peacefully December 6, 2024.  Born in Middletown, NY, he was the third son of Thomas and Edythe Kennedy.  Preceded in death by brothers William and Barry (Peggy), he was also a loving brother to Karen Rowe of Westlake, Ohio.  He is survived by his sister Karen, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.

Jimmy served in the U.S. Army in 1951 and was stationed in Germany during the Korean conflict.  He enjoyed his middle years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he served his AA community at the 12-Step House.

Suncrest Hospice shared his final journey, as well as his last year in the excellent care of the Joshua Tree Care Center in North Olmsted, Ohio.  Private service and burial for the family and by invitation.
