JAMES M. McLAUGHLIN, age 84, devoted husband of 59 years to Judy (nee Nicolay); cherished father of Erin Deeds (Jay), Michael (Motria), Maura and Kevin (Kristen); loving Grampa Jim of Katie Holowaty (Dennis), Charlie Deeds (Cassidy), Megan, Mary and Bridget Deeds, Matthew, Patrick and Marty McLaughlin and Hallie, Molly, Quinn and Charlotte McLaughlin; great-grandfather of Sloane and Declan Deeds and Mila and Marko Holowaty; son of the late Mary Ann (nee Sallee) and Peter McLaughlin; brother of Daniel (deceased) (Marge), Barbara Swasay (Peter) (both deceased) and Elaine Henwood (deceased); brother-in-law of Claude and Alice Nicolay; beloved uncle, cousin and friend of many.  Proud graduate of St. Ignatius High School Class of 1958 and John Carroll University Class of 1963.  Passed away January 2, 2025.  Funeral Mass Thursday, January 9, St. Brendan Church (4242 Brendan Lane, North Olmsted) at 10 A.M.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD.
