JAMES VINCENT "Jim" PATTON, 84, beloved husband of Ursula (nee Forrey) for 60 years. Father of James (Eileen), Maureen (Tom) Pyzoha, Kathleen (Robert) McFadden and John (Mary). Dear "Papa" of Jim (Kate), Meghan (Kevin) Disbrow, Owen and Lauren, Morgan and Thomas Pyzoha, Kyleen and Bobby McFadden, and Jackie. Great grandfather of Will Disbrow and Colin Patton.
Brother of Patrick E. "Bobby" - deceased (Ruth), Mary (George) Dadich (both deceased) and Honorable John T. "Jack" Patton (Patricia) (both deceased). Beloved uncle, great uncle and friend of many.
Jim was a long-time executive of Medical Mutual of Ohio. Most recently, he was Director Emeritus of Medical Mutual's Board of Directors. Jim's career spanned over seven decades, starting in 1944 at age 14. He served in multiple departments during his 41 years. As a Vice President, Jim developed the community affairs, legal, government and institutional advertising activities. After retiring in 1985, he continued to serve as a Government Relations consultant. Jim served another 14 years on the Company's Board.
He was a graduate of St. Colman Grade School; 1947 graduate of Holy Name High School; graduate of Fenn College and attended John Carroll University. He was a U.S. Army Veteran - Korea. Passed away December 31, 2013. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 4, St. Angela Merici Church (20970 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park) at 11:30 A.M. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery.
