JAMES P. SWEENY, age 91.  Beloved husband of the late Lillian E. (nee Stroyan); loving father of Tim (Melissa), Patti Morris (Bob), Kathy Oliphant (Jerry) and Kevin (Lisa); grandfather of Dan, Brian, Lauren Sweeny, Jimmy (deceased), Joe, Meghan Morris, Kristin Oliphant, Will, and McKenna Sweeny; great-grandfather of 5; brother of the late Mabel Sweeny.  Graduate of St. Ignatius High School Class of 1945 and attended John Carroll University.  U.S. Navy veteran.  A 33-year member of the Cleveland Police Department and last remaining founding member of the R.I.P.S.  Passed away April 30, 2018.  The Sweeny family would like to thank the staff at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky for the wonderful care they provided.  Funeral Mass Saturday, May 5, St. Patrick Church (West Park) at 9:30 A.M.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR.
