JAMES F. WALLENHORST, age 64. Passed away April 6, 2020 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 33 years to Eileen (nee Reynolds); loving father of Matt, James, Mary Colleen and Ellie; dear son of Barbara and the late Thomas; brother of Thomas (Nancy), Mary Jo Lammers (Thomas), Joseph (Colleen), Michael (Sandra), Martin (Anne), Margaret Homyak (Mark) and Barbara Kuemerle (Glenn); uncle, great uncle, caring friend and passionate creative teacher for 39 years at St. Edward High School. A man of faith motivating students to be a success was his vocation. A lover of travel, he was a member of the 50 State Club.

A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life in honor of Jim will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, at 6:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated at St. Edward High School Varsity Gym (13500 Detroit Ave.) with a reception immediately following in the Palasin Commons. Please park and enter at the Palasin Commons (corner of Nicholson and Detroit). RSVP's are required.
