JANET L. DAVID (nee Seagro) age 62. Beloved wife of 39 years to Michael; loving mother of Shannon David Misialek (Phil) and Michael "Junior" (Amanda); proud grandma of Collins, Briar, Kolter and a grand baby on the way; sister of Lee Seagro, Jane Jonas, Guy Seagro and the late John Seagro, Michael Pence and Samuel Seagro; mother like figure of Sherry Leonard (Kevin); aunt and friend of many.

Janet was born in New Castle, PA, but spent most of her childhood in the Cleveland area. She attended high school in Lakewood and enjoyed competing in gymnastics. As a young adult, she was always looking for an opportunity to dance, throw darts, or play softball. She met Mike in 1983 and they were married for 39 passionate years. They primarily lived in Seven Hills raising their wonderful children.

In 2012, Mike and Janet moved to Oak Harbor where they met great friends and spent the bulk of their time enjoying the lake life. In 2018, they moved back to Cleveland to be closer to family. She appreciated live music and the social atmosphere.

Janet was a compassionate person with a love for others. She was always thinking about her family and loved her grandkids. She never passed up an opportunity to play all sorts of games. Boardgames, "Tiles" and Yahtzee were her favorites.  Getting a winning Pull tab or scratch off gave her great joy! One of her favorite things was to dine out enjoying seafood with good company. Her happy place was spending time at the beach or listening to live music.

On Thursday morning, she lost her courageous battle with cancer surrounded by friends and family. She fought the battle with strength and tenacity.

Passed away November 9, 2023. Funeral Mass Monday, November 13, Our Lady of Angels Church (3644 Rocky River Dr.) at 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends ma y call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS SUNDAY 2-5 PM.
