JANET I. GORMAN, age 92, beloved daughter of the late Isabelle (nee Johnston) and Albert Gorman; dear sister of Jean Clark; and friend of many. Janet was a renowned softball player from 1945-1953 and pitched in the 1947 World Softball Championship.  She was a longtime volunteer at Fairview Hospital and for Meals on Wheels. Janet was a member of West Park United Church of Christ since 1952, where she served as a Deacon, usher and Sunday School teacher.  She was a member of their bowling team and also was the West Park UCC baseball team manager for many years, leading them to victory three years.  Passed away December 22, 2020.  All services will be private for the family.  Interment Sunset Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions are suggested to West Park United Church of Christ, 3909 Rocky River Dr., Cleveland, OH  44111.
