JEAN MARIE SLIVKA (nee Wysocki) of Cleveland, Ohio returned to her Heavenly Father on February 3, 2025 at the age of 62.

Born on June 27, 1962, Jean was a beloved daughter of Ronald C. Wysocki and the late Rita P. Wysocki. Proud and loving mother of Meghan Slivka (Ben Englehart), Shawn Slivka (Virginia Ford). Cherished sibling to Mary Ellen Slisz (Mark), Mark Wysocki (Marcy), Terri Wysocki (Joel) and Karen Yacobucci (Anthony). Former spouse of Tim Slivka. Caring aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

To know Jean was to love her. She had a very challenging life. That being said, she always had an optimistic and pleasant demeanor with a joyful sense of humor. She adored her children deeply and always had so much fun going to see new releases of Disney movies in theatres. She spent long summers poolside soaking up the sun and family time. She enjoyed going to Disney World, OBX and Myrtle Beach.

From a young age Jean explored the arts, beginning with ballet and progressing to tap dance. Jean enjoyed choir and theatre and excelled in numerous Magnificat High School clubs.

Jean began her service orientation in healthcare as a registered nurse at St. Vincent Charity Hospital. She then progressed into a home health care nursing position. Over the years, she evolved her career to a management level in home health care and focused on children with special needs prior to retiring.

She will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched!

With all the love she left behind, "we're going to need a bigger boat".

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 22, St. Joseph Church (32929 Lake Rd. Avon Lake, Ohio) at 11:30 am. A celebration of her life will be held immediately after Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests, for those who choose to do so, to make a donation in Jean's honor to the Breast Cancer team at MetroHealth Medical Center.
