JENNIFER LYNNE PETRAS, age 57, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 11. Devoted mother of Alita Petras; beloved daughter of Joan (nee Schubert) and the late Andrew Petras; dear sister of Jeffrey (Jean, deceased) (Kyle), Anthony (Caroline), Aimee Bachna (Raymond Kaczmarczyk) and Jacqueline Mizikar (Richard). Dear Aunt of many and friend to all she met. Jennifer was an enthusiastic mom, coach, friend, and mentor to her daughter Alita, who graduates from college this month. Jennifer was proud of her M.A., NBTC education credentials, and started her dream job in Asheville NC this past year. She wanted to "teach the teachers", and began this career path after 20+ years in classrooms. Tech, digital, software, and audio-visual communications were her passions – she loved sharing what she learned with family, colleagues, and students. Jen loved film and TV, had a great voice, did advertising voice-overs and sang in a band (sang at the Agora!) Her sense of humor was quick, saucy, and feisty. She will be well loved in memory. As a big fan of Bruce Willis movies, we're all sure Jen left us with a chagrined smile and a shout "Yippee ki-yay."  Funeral Service Friday, December 15, at 7:00 P.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD.
