JOAN M. KERSLAGER (nee Kintzele) passed away peacefully on August 18, 2020 in Cleveland, Ohio. Born in 1931 to Bernard and Alice in Chicago IL and formerly resided in Waynesville, NC, Punta Gorda FL, and Los Gatos, CA, Naperville, Rockford and Oak Park, Illinois.

Joan was happily married to George for 60 years until his passing in 2010. Joan loved to read, travel, garden, shop, play Mah Jong and host family and friends for delicious dinners she prepared. She tolerated George's love of boating but loved the friends where she laughed, drank wine and explored together.  Friends were embraced during their time with the Vixen RV caravans through Mexico and the USA. Joan loved to be surrounded by beauty - in her stylish outfits, hairstyles, homes and boats.

Joan is survived by her four widowed sisters Maxine "Sissy" Norville (Robert) Darlene Mora (Gilbert), Janet Bianchini (Neil & deceased Fred Vitale ) and Jacqueline "Jackie" Papa (deceased Rudy), her children Bruce (Gaye), Rick and Karyn Kaschalk (Robert), grandchildren Jenna Kross (Paul), Forrest, Kalina Druschel (Michael), Amanda Mitsch (Greg) and Kaleb Kaschalk (Emily), and great-grandparent of Ruby Kross, Grayson Kross, Grace Mitsch, Charles Mitsch, Claire Mitsch, Fiona Druschel and Bree Druschel.

Joan will be forever missed. Her warm smile and laughter filled the room.  Her grand meals where we could always count on a well planned dinner. Her "5:00 pm wine times" and 5 am coffee with her bare feet up on the coffee table. Her Thanksgiving stuffing and cheesecakes. Joan had a wonderful life and now she can kick up her feet, snuggled under the arm of her loving George in heaven.
