JOAN MARIE RYAN (nee Hanrahan), age 86. Peacefully passed away on June 7, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife of 66 years to the late Richard P. Ryan; loving mother of Patrick (Susan), Michael (Marietta), Rich (dec. Mary Ellen)(Patricia), Terry (Tammy), Tim (Sue), Kathy Schreiber (Eric), Mary (dec), Karen Tigue (Jeff), and Danny (Dreama). She is preceded in death by her loving parents Mary "Lol" (nee McGlynn) and George Hanrahan and her ten siblings.

The youngest of 11, Joan was born in Cleveland, OH on November 16, 1936. She grew up in St. Pat's Parish and attended St. Augustine High School in Lakewood. She and Dick eventually moved to Fairview Park where they raised their 8 children.  Dearly loved by her 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, Joan was a devoted sister-in-law, aunt, mother-in-law and loyal friend to many. Joan loved her tennis and golf playing alongside her best friends for over 30 years. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, quick wit, genuine kindness, and strong faith.

Funeral Mass Saturday, June 10,  St. Angela Merici Church (20970 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44126) at 10:00 AM. (Mass will be livestreamed at https://www.youtube.com/@st.angelamericiparish-fair782/streams .) We will celebrate Joan's beautiful life following her burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
