Funeral Mass for Joanna H. (nee Belanich) Garry, 86, of Medina, will be 12 noon Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina.  Joanna passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at her residence.  She was born Oct. 24, 1934, in Cleveland.  Joanna earned her nursing degree at St. John College and a Bachelor of Health Care Administration from Ursuline College. She had worked as an R.N. for more than 40 years, and in Emergency care at Euclid General and Lake Health Hospital Systems for more than 30 years.  She loved theater, music and was an active member in the Breckenridge Golf & Tennis Resort choir during the winter months at her home in Estero, Fla.  She was the loving mother of Rita (Anthony) Garry Esposito, Patricia Ann Garry, Joanna L. (Michael) Fanning, and Edward M. Garry (Peter Lammers); cherished grandmother of Riley, Liam, Deidre and Clare; sister of Marilyn (Jack) Orcutt, Joseph Belanich and Michael (Suzanne) Balanich; sister-in-law of Judy Belanich; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Joanna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. "Jack" Garry in 2014; parents, Joseph and Marie (nee Milner) Belanich; and siblings, William Belanich, Marie Belanich, and James (Sue, dec.) Belanich. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Chambers Funeral Home, 29150 Lorain Road (at Stearns Rd.), in North Olmsted. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Medina.
