JOHN J. BLAU, age 90, beloved husband of almost 66 years to the late Rita G. (nee Gutman); loving father of Janice, John J. Jr. (Becky), Larry J., MaryKay McDade (Bruce Kargin), Matthew J. (Amanda), Karl J. (Terri), Rev. Thomas J., and Rosemary (Linda Christie); grandfather of Edmund, Nick, Celeste, Zachary, Kevin, Gretchen, Fabrice, and Mannon; great-grandfather of Luke and Clementine; brother of Jerome A. (Shirley), Sue Ann Steinbach (Richard) and the late Joan Hayes, Shirley Himmelein, and Jude Blau; uncle of many.  John worked in pharmaceutical sales for A.H. Robins for over 30 years.  He started his career as a chiropractor.  John was a founding member of T.G.I.F.F. at St. Clarence Church.  Former active parishioner of St. Richard and Holy Trinity (Avon).  U.S. Navy veteran WWII.  Passed away January 11, 2018.  Funeral Mass Wednesday, January 17, Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted) at 10 A.M..  Interment Sunset Memorial Park.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD.
