JOHN D. ALEXANDROVIC, age 79, survived by his loving wife and best friend of 46 years, Una (nee McShane); loving father of Danilo (Molly, deceased), Kelly Russ Buehner (Brett), and Robert (Kara); proud grandfather of Gavin, Paiton, Oscar and Remy; dear brother of Denise Gintner (deceased), Danilo (deceased) and Robert Aleksandrovic (Mary Kay); beloved uncle of Jack, Paige Benjamin, Lucy and Eliza Aleksandrovic.
John Alexandrovic passed away surrounded by his family on July 8, 2026. His life was one defined by resilience and generosity. Born in a displaced persons camp following WWII, he came to the US as a child and embodied the American Dream. He built a life for himself and his family through relentless work and unwavering commitment to faith, service and community. John often said, “Nothing is more important than family,” and truly embodied this philosophy as a dedicated husband, father, djedo, brother and uncle: Kumovi to many, friend to all. Against all odds, John succeeded to create an amazing life, full of memorable experiences and everyday kindnesses, for all those who were lucky enough to know him.
