JOHN D. DESSOFFY

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John Dessoffy , Sr, 80, of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Placida, Florida, on January 30, 2025. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynn Dessoffy.

John is survived by his son, John Dessoffy, Jr. (Crystal Szell) and daughter, Christine Dessoffy and grandson, Alex Rawlings; Brother Ron (Jan) Dessoffy, Sister Terry (Steve) Kosztya, Sister-in-law Diane (Bob) Dirks, Bonnie Anderson,  and many nieces and nephews and friends in both in Ohio and Florida.

He is also preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Wilma Dessoffy, step-parents Chuck and Irene McFarland, Sister Carolee Frindt (Edward), Father-in-law Albert Brockway, Mother-in-law Eleanor Brockway and sister-in-law Barbara Fryar.

Graveside Service on Friday, March 14, Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Road Seville, Ohio, 44273) at 11:15 AM. Please meet at the front gate by 11:00 AM.
