JOHN L. HAGENS, age 74, beloved husband of the late Mary L. (nee Threatt); loving father of Robbin Scurry (Frederick), Tamara Rogers, (Rodney), Kimberly Pope (Anderson) and Debra Threatt; proud grandfather of C'Aira Scurry, Anthony Scurry, Victoria Davis, Conrad Davis, Olivia Rogers, Rashaun, Khairah, Andrea, Ashley, Paris and Tiymisha and great-grandfather of Ocean, Amir, Andre Jr., Andreia, Aleeyeh, Alijah and Ahmad; dear bother of the late Kelly Hagens and Annie Faye Hagens; uncle and friend of many.  Proud U.S. Army veteran (retired).  John had a passion for singing and playing cards and was also an accomplished boxer in the U.S. Army.  Passed away May 23, 2024.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR.
