JOHN HAYES (formerly of Waterville, Co. Kerry, Ireland) age 88, beloved husband of 54 years to Mary A. (nee O'Donnell), loving father of Bill (Cheri, nee Gura), Mike (Joan, nee Phalen), John (Marilyn, nee Lapp), Pat (Sharon, nee Mog), Jim (Lucy, nee Horan) and Kevin (Jodi, nee Murphy), grandfather of Brigid Kimbrell (Aaron), Tim, Patrick, Kelsey, Sean, Collin, Kelly, Brigid, Dean, Meghan, John and Darcy Hayes, great-grandfather of Mairead, Aoife and Emmet Kimbrell, brother of the late James, Patrick, Eilish Grant, Willie, Michael and Eoin, uncle and great-uncle and godfather of many. John was a retired Ironworker, Local #17 and was a longtime member and board member of the West Side Irish American Club where he was honored in 1992 as Man of the Year. In 2010 John was named Grand Marshall of the Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade. Passed away July 16, 2013. Funeral Mass Saturday, July 20, St. Mary of the Falls Church (25615 Bagley Rd.
