JOHN BABEL, JR., Ph.D., devoted husband of 53 years to Louise (nee DiCenzo); loving father of Donna Van Rooy (Mark), Richard (Nicole) and Thomas (Tricia); grandfather of Madison, Zachary and Mason Van Rooy, Jack, Kara, Lilly and Bea; brother of Helen Vroman (Jim); uncle, great uncle and friend of many. Dr. Babel was the retired Superintendent of Fairview Park City Schools and Adjunct Professor at Cleveland State University and was very active in the West Shore Rotary Club. U.S. Army Veteran.
