JOHN W. MORTON, J.D., age 79, loving father of Beth Morton; devoted companion of Jarmila; brother of the late Tom, Bob, Devon (Matthew), Bernice Blackburn, Duke and Calvin; uncle and great uncle of many. Dr. Morton had many dear friends and was highly respected by his colleagues. He held a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Lane College, a master's degree in mathematics from Howard University, and a law degree from Georgetown University. He was Vice President of ASRC Aerospace at NASA Glenn. Dr. Morton was a member of NASA'S Project Mercury team. He received the 2011 Emerald Honors Award for Professional Achievement at the Black Engineer of the Year Awards annual conference in Washington, D.C. He was considered one of our nation's top science, engineering and technology professionals. Passed away July 19, 2012. Funeral Mass Tuesday, July 24, St. Brendan Church (4242 Brendan Lane, N.
