JOHN J. MURPHY age 56, (Lieutenant, Cleveland Division of Fire, Ladder 7) beloved husband of 34 years to Patricia "Patti" (nee O'Malley), loving father of Michael J., son of Annie (nee McGowan) and the late Martin, brother of Catherine-deceased, Martin-deceased, Margaret, Sheila Crocker (James) and Thomas (Eileen), devoted son-in-law of Mary (nee Ginley) and the late Michael O'Malley, brother-in-law of Margaret O'Malley-deceased, Michael, Patrick, James (Kim) and Mary K. Kennedy (James), beloved uncle and friend of many. John was recipient of the Silver and Gold award for bravery, a member of IAFF Local 93, life member of Laborer's Local 310 and life member of Operating Engineers Local 18. He built his own company: John Murphy Construction Co. and also was a member of the West Side Irish American Club, the Shamrock Club and the Cleveland Fire Museum, passed away unexpectedly June 10, 2012.
