J. STEPHEN (STEVE) NICHOLS, age 66, beloved husband for 43 years to Elizabeth (nee Mahoney). Loving father of Stephen (Sarah) and Amy Havranek (Steve). Grandfather of Madeline and Jimmy Nichols. Friend of many. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on October 16, 2009. Steve worked for Dairy Pak, later named Evergreen Packaging, for 47 years, retiring in 2009. Graduated from Olmsted Falls High School in 1961 where he wrestled and played football. Steve spent much of his free time building furniture in his wood shop and providing foster care to stray and neglected animals. Funeral Service Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME, 86 ADALBERT STREET, BEREA (ONE BLOCK NORTH OF BAGLEY OFF FRONT STREET) where friends may call 2-4 P.M. AND 6 P.M.
