JOHN "JACK" R. ERB, age 74, of Sheffield Lake, OH, retired Cleveland Firefighter, went to be with our Lord on October 2, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by cherished family members at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake. Jack was born August 30, 1942 in Cleveland, OH to the late Margaret (nee Jablonski) and Norman Erb. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth. He is survived by his cherished and loving daughter, Dawn Ruccella (Tony); grandchildren Anthony and Anna; brothers Norman (Barbara) and Jeffrey (Rosemary) and by many family members and dear friends who have treasured memories of Jack. Jack attended St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Elementary School. He was a 1960 graduate of St. Edward High School where he was a proud and accomplished member of their wrestling team.
