JOHN R. "JACK" NEARY

JOHN R. "JACK" NEARY, age 66, beloved husband of Diane Neary (nee Quinn); loving father of Ryan Neary (Jamie) and Katie Neary Eichorn (Eric); proud "Grandpa Jack" of Thomas and Bridget Neary and Arthur Eichorn; son of the late Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Hagan) and Robert "Bob" Neary and son-in-law of the late Sarah and Yancey Quinn; brother of Patricia "Patti" Neary-Shadle (Mark), Kathleen "Kathy" Neary and Colleen Neary; beloved uncle, cousin and dear friend of many. Passed away unexpectedly September 25, 2026.

A native of Bay Village, Ohio, Jack grew up playing with the Oakmoor Gang and attended St. Raphael School in Bay Village, going on to graduate from Bay Village High School. Running was a lifelong love of his including on the Bay cross country team and he was so proud that he ran the New York Marathon in 1980.

Jack was an amazing salesman where he gained experience working for many major companies throughout his career and eventually was able to pair his profession with his love of benchrest shooting at Capstone Precision.

Showing his loyalty through many facets of his life, Jack was a devoted Cleveland Browns fan through the winning and losing seasons. Jack also showed his devotion to the Catholic Church as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Clarence.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, October 6, The Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted) at 11 A.M. where friends may call TUESDAY, 10 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF MASS. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed at st-clarence.org. Private burial St. Joseph Cemetery (Avon). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association at heart.org or the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
