JOHN G. WILBUR, age 40, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida passed away peacefully on January 5, 2015. Beloved son of Otis and Colleen Wilbur (nee Cooney) of Avon Lake, OH. Dear nephew of Brian and Lynne Cooney, cousin of Tiffany Cohen (Ken), uncle of Rylee and Blake Cohen. Godfather to Rylee Cohen and K.J. Bir. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. John, a lifetime native Floridian, received his B.S. degree from the University of Central Florida and his M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern. He was employed by FIS Global as an account manager. The family would like to thank the physicians and staff of Cleveland Clinic who cared for John during his four year battle with kidney cancer.
