JOSEPH C. DOBECK

JOSEPH C. DOBECK, 52, of Lyndhurst, Ohio, passed away on October 15, 2026.

Beloved son of Joanne Clark (Richard) and the late Michael J. Dobeck. Father of Thomas J. Reynolds (Stephenie) and grandfather of Theo Reynolds and of Elijah and Liliah Nelson. Brother of Michael J. Dobeck, Jr. (Lauren Parker) and uncle of Carson Dobeck. Cousin and friend to many.

Joe wrestled at Mayfield High School and was a competitive motocross racer. He studied the culinary arts at Hocking Technical College and worked as a chef for more than 20 years.

Joe loved the books of Steven King and J.R.R. Tolkien, the Star Wars movies, and the Michael Stanley Band. He was also a lifetime, diehard fan of the Cleveland Browns.

But his love of family—especially his son and grandson—trumped all.

Funeral Mass Wednesday, October 21, St. Noel Church (35200 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills, OH) at 11 A.M. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Inurnment All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the SCHULTE & MAHON - MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD) TUESDAY 4-7 P.M.
