JOSEPH C. PALMISANO, SR. age 85. Born in Erie, PA June 29, 1939 passed away peacefully, July 23rd, 2024 at the Village of the Falls nursing home in Olmsted Falls, Ohio.

Joseph, a devoted Catholic , is survived by the love of his life of 56 years. Claire (nee Cronin), and was a loving father to two children , Joseph C. Palmisano, JR . and Bridgette Repenning (David), and devoted grandfather of two granddaughter's Morgyn and Caroline. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary and  father, Joseph , brothers Mario and Jerry. Survivor's include brother David Palmisano (Diane) of Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews.

Through his hard work academically and his love for the game of golf received a four year caddy scholarship from Penn State University and then went on to receive a masters degree from the University of Wisconsin.

After graduation, worked for General Motors in Cleveland, Ohio which became his home.

He was an avid golfer and had a passion about teaching others about the game.

He loved to be around family and friends and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his strong Catholic faith, that he instilled in his family. Volunteered in the Cleveland City schools tutoring both math and reading.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, July 30, St. Brendan Church (4242 Brendan Lane) at 10:00 AM. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
