JOY A. SHIELDS (nee Wilson), age 72, beloved wife of Mark A.; loving mother of James McConnell (Darla) and Kevin McConnell (Sara); proud Grandma Joy of 11 and great-grandmother of 4; sister of Alice O'Boyle (John) and Bonnie Lapohn (deceased); beloved aunt and great aunt of many.  Joy was most proud of 40 years continuous sobriety with Alcoholics Anonymous and was a dedicated nurse for many years.  Passed away  November 23, 2025.  Funeral Service THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4 , at 1:00 P.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD.
