Judy D. Burke (nee Post), age 88 beloved wife for 66 years of the late John J. Burke, loving mother of Brittan Di Santo (Fred) and John Burke, grandmother of TJ DiSanto (Lia).

Judy was a graduate of Kent State University where she obtained her BA in art education. She was a 70-year member of Delta Gamma Fraternity.

A devout Catholic, Judy lived a life serving others as a dedicated volunteer. In addition to her many acts of service, she was deeply engaged in the Westlake community. Judy was the co-founder of Mrs. Claus Closet Art Show, which contributed to the Clague Park Gazebo project and the ALS Association. She and her partner Ruth Hopkins also founded the Festival of the Arts at St. John West Shore Hospital.

Judy was involved in many non-profits including, The Gathering Place, Malachi House, Cleveland Central Catholic, and the Osteopathic Board at St. John West Shore Hospital. Judy and her husband Jack were elected to the honor of Mr. & Mrs. Westlake in the 1970’s.

Judy had a love of the visual arts and was an amazing artist and teacher. She instilled her love of art in her daughter and even taught the children in her neighborhood. Many in the Westlake community benefitted from her selflessness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Saint Ladislas Church (2345 Bassett Rd Westlake) at 11 A.M. The mass will be livestreamed.  Interment will be in private

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Magnificat High School, 20770 Hilliard Blvd. Rocky River, Ohio 44116 magnificaths.org.
