Kathryn Ann Nagy, loving wife and mother, passed away on Saturday, March 7. She was 91.

Kathryn was born June 26, 1928, in Cleveland, to Eugene and Katherine Cunha. Known to her friends as Kit, she graduated on the honor roll from West Technical High School in 1946, a member of Spanish Club and the Victory Corps.

On April 26, 1947, she married the love of her life, Ernest Nagy. They raised two daughters, Christine and Deborah.

Kathryn was President of the PTA at her daughters' elementary school, and she served as a leader of her girls' Brownie and Girl Scout troops.

A lifelong active member of the church, Kathryn prepared for Sunday services every week for many years, and served one term as president of the Puritas Lutheran Church Council.  After Puritas Lutheran Church closed, Kathryn became a member of Bethany English Lutheran Church.

Fascinated by the arts, she enjoyed taking trips with the Gunning Park senior citizens' group, theatre at Playhouse Square, and classes in portraiture.

Kathryn was known as a quick wit and an exceptional host, with a great sense of humor, boundless love, and dedication to her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Katherine, her brothers, Albert and Eugene, and her beloved husband, Ernie. She is survived by her daughters, Christine and Debi; and granddaughters Jill (David) and Claire (Kyle).

Funeral Service Saturday March 14, Bethany English Lutheran Church, 15460 Triskett Rd., at 10 a.m. where friends may call 9 a.m. until time of service. Entombment Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
