KEVIN G. McCREADY, age 70. Loving son of the late Edna (nee Huber) and George McCready; brother of Mary Beth Byrnes (the late Jim) and Patti McCready; uncle of Christopher Byrnes (Lisa), Daniel Byrnes (Kat) and Sean Byrnes (Julie); great-uncle of Patrick, Annie, Addy, Jack, James and Molly.

Kevin worked the majority of his career as an Electronic Engineering Technician. He was a passionate cyclist.  His love of riding, repairing, and building bikes from the ground up was a common thread throughout his entire life. As a true audiophile, he was never happy until the music he loved so much and could discuss for hours on end sounded as though you were in the same room as the artist who crafted the melody. He never allowed the unknown to stop him from pursuing whatever he set his mind to. Home improvement projects - no matter how daunting - never fazed him; if he didn't know how to do it, he would research it until he knew how the experts did it so he could do it himself. Most of all, Kevin had a huge heart.  He loved life and his family and friends. He would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. He was taken from us all too soon, but our lives will forever be richer for having him in our lives and in our hearts. When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind.  We will miss you until we meet again.

Passed away suddenly March 4, 2022. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, March 18, St. Bernadette Church (2256 Clague Rd.) at 11:00 AM. Private inurnment Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
