LAWRENCE MICHAEL "LARRY" LAVELLE, age 90, beloved husband of 59 years to the late Margaret "Peg" (nee Fahnle); loving father of Tom, Dan (Carol), Brian (Julie), Tim (Tina), and Laura Kowalski (Mike); proud grandfather of Jack, Joe, Ben, Erin, Maddie, Will, Abby, Ellie, Lily, and Evan; son of the late Maud (nee Kilbane) and Michael Lavelle; brother of Bro. Robert Lavelle, C.S.C., Sr. Mary Ann Lavelle, C.S.J., and Loretta Seidl and the late Michael, Katherine Wyar, Thomas, Bernard, Frank, Margaret, Theresa Gullion, Eileen Adams; and Joseph.
U.S. Army veteran. Retired member of the Heat and Frost Insulators Local # 3. Larry was hardworking, strong, loving, and gentle. He was a man of unshakable conviction. He was deeply devoted to his wife and family. He was the measuring stick for what a husband, father, and grandfather should be. Passed away January 11, 2022. It is difficult to say goodbye but the memories will live on in our hearts and guide us through our lives.
Funeral Mass Saturday, January 15, St. Bernadette Church (2256 Clague Rd., Westlake) at 12:30 P.M. (Mass will be livestreamed at
