LAWRENCE EDWARD McQUADE, age 87, passed away peacefully at Ames Family Hospice House on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Husband and true love of Colette for 65 years. Beloved father of Karen Weiner (Ken), Kevin (Marilyn), Kathie (best friend Jim), and Tom (Laura Lee). Cherished grandfather of Christine, Ian and Rory. He is survived by his sister Eileen Mueller, and predeceased by his siblings Marshall, Lorraine Bilek, Patricia Forster, Ray and George. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Son of the late Edward and Irene (née Paquette), Larry was born in Grand Rapids Michigan on July 21, 1929. Always hard working and hard playing, Larry loved people and had a great sense of humor. He was outgoing, adventuresome, and full of life; generous and giving. Larry proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He will always be treasured. Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 5, St. Angela Merici Church (20970 Lorain Rd.) at 10 A.M.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Ames Family Hospice House, 30080 Hospice Way, Westlake, OH  44145 would be appreciated.
