LAWRENCE R. NORTON, Sr., born October 21, 1935 in Cleveland, passed away Saturday, August 15th, at the age of 84. He is the son of the late Adeline (Limoli) and Maxwell Norton; brother of the late Lucy and Tom Gannon. Larry served as a postman for 30 years along with other jobs in real estate and city government in various states across the US including California, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and North Carolina, before returning to Ohio.

He is survived by his loving wife Elaine (née Matt); devoted sister Mary Stamper (Jim); daughters Mary Augustus (Jim) and Beth Ihlenfeld Barker (Greg); and sons Jack Norton (Tommi) and Larry "Bo" Norton; and grandchildren Hannah Norton, Robert Ihlenfeld, Michael Ihlenfeld, Eric Ihlenfeld, and Alex Ihlenfeld.
