IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Leslie "Les"
L. Schwerman
October 13, 1943 – January 28, 2022
LESLIE LEE "LES" SCHWERMAN was born October 13, 1943, in Hartford, Michigan to the late Carl Schwerman and Vesta Humes Schwerman. Les passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by loved ones on January 28, 2022. Les is survived by his adoring wife Lenore Schwerman (nee Adaro), daughter Barb (TJ) Lester, son Bob (Theresa) Schwerman, daughter Tonya (Jeff) Rick, grandchildren Joey, Elizabeth (Eric), Corey (Lynnesa), Alyssa (Billy), Carrie, Austin, Danielle (Emmett), Caiden, Gavin, Tiana and Lilly and great-grandchildren Olivia, Maddie and Ellie. Les is also survived by sisters-in-law Noemi and Janet, brothers-in-law Paul and Eric (Zarniline), nephews Nikol, Lenard and Paolo. Additionally, Les is survived by those he considered his second family Sally Merryman, Dave Merryman, and Nicole (Myles) Eisbrenner, lovingly referred to as "The people from Michigan", longtime friends Rodger Eaton and Larry Clancy, as well as many other loyal friends whom he held dear. Les was proceeded in death by his parents, son Joey Blackburn, mother, and father-in-law Bernardina and Bernard Adaro, granddaughter Amy, and honorary brother Mark Merryman.
Les made friends wherever he went. He was a great man who treated everyone with kindness and never judged a soul. Any stranger was a friend to Les and he would happily take the time to talk with everyone who crossed his path.
Les was a hard-working man, working full-time until his illness no longer allowed. He was a lover of movies and television as well as an avid board game player. He loved to travel, drive, and document the moments of his and his family's lives through photography. Les could see the beauty not only in the memorable and significant moments, but also in the mundane everyday tasks of life and he would capture those moments with his lens. Les was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends laughing, chatting and enjoying a good burger, pizza, or ice cream.
Les will be sorely missed by those who love him. However, we will cling tightly to our treasured memories until we are together once again.
