LISA MARIE EMERY, 60, of North Royalton, Ohio, beloved daughter of the late Emil and Janet Emery and sister to Sandra, Susan, Lois, Joan, Brian, Robert, and Dianne, passed away on April 22nd, 2023.

Lisa Emery was born on April 10th, 1963 to Janet and Emil Emery, of North Olmsted, Ohio. She lived in Las Vegas in her 20's and 30's for a time, mostly to work on her tan. She eventually made her way back to Cleveland (because Cleveland rocks!) to care for her parents as they aged. She was her mother's rock and companion for the last twenty years. As they liked to say, they took care of each other.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Janet and Emil, her brother-in-law, Will, and her nephew, Brian.

Lisa is survived by her seven siblings, Sandra (Will, dec. ), Susan, Lois, Joan (Bob), Brian, Robert (Christine), and Dianne (Daniel). Lisa was the beloved aunt of her 21 nieces and nephews, Jason (Christina), Rachel (John), Rob, Scott, John (Elizabeth), Nicole (David), Kelly (David), Rob "Erin" (Lyka), Mike, Katie, Hillary, Haley, Katie (Joshua), Brian (dec.) , Kerry (Ben), Sharon, Alyssa (Kyle), David, Ryan, Danny, and Samantha, and beloved great-aunt of her 24 great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by her close cousins and the special lifelong friendships she maintained.

Throughout her life, Lisa loved to spend time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews (occasionally referred to as "silly buddies"), and found joy and friendship playing Bingo any time she could. Lisa loved all things pop culture. She especially loved sharing her love of classic television with her nieces and nephews. It was imperative for each and every one of them to understand their television heritage. "Aunt" was the title she loved the most.

Among other things, Lisa will be remembered as fun-loving and ever supportive of her friends and family. She was never afraid to embarrass herself as long as she made you laugh. Before her 60th birthday on April 10th of this year, Lisa was very particular when talking about her age, saying that she was going to be 60, not be in her 60's. Rather than having her face the reality of being in her 60s, God called her to join her beloved parents instead. Lisa will remain forever 60 in our hearts.

We will miss you Lisa!

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in North Royalton on Tuesday, May 16th at 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, where Lisa will be laid to rest next to her Mom and Dad. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will occur afterwards.
