LOIS P. MILLER (nee Barber), age 95, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2021 at home in Olmsted Twp. where she was living near her nephew, Tim Barber, and his wife, Kathy. Lois was a longtime resident of Lorain, OH where she ran the Bookkeeping Department for Llewellyn Pontiac and was a member of Heritage Presbyterian Church. She is predeceased by her first husband, Larry Miller, and second husband, Jack Ballis, of Solon, who was her camping and traveling companion for 18 years; and brothers, Harry R. Barber and William Barber. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Campbell, AZ; her nieces, Cathy Barber (Alan Brenner) and Cindy Barber (David Ellmers), and her nephews and devoted caregiver, Diane. Lois was a longtime member of Good Sam's Camping Club and was a licensed airplane pilot and loved animals and crafts.  Funeral Service Wednesday, May 12, at 7 P.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD. where friends may call WEDNESDAY 5 P.M. until time of service (the service will be livestreamed on the Chambers Funeral Homes Facebook page).  Please observe all Covid-19 safety precautions.
