LOIS VIRGINIA ZOLAR (nee Hodgson), born February 16, 1928, entered into rest on July 1, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Frank; devoted mother of Kathleen (Scott), Teresa (John) and Karen; dear sister of Carol; aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Lois was an active member in her community, had a lifelong involvement in Girl Scouting, named as a Woman of Distinction and recipient of a Tribute on the Wall of Honor of Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio.  Lois worked as a poll worker for over 40 years, Hospitality Chairman for the North Olmsted Democratic Club, and a Mayoral appointee to the Civil Service Commission. Lois was a founding member of the Advent Episcopal Church.  Of her life's accomplishments, Lois earned the esteemed title of North Olmsted's 1989 Citizen of the Year.

A Memorial Service will be held at her beloved Advent Episcopal Church, 3760 Dover Center Road, Westlake, OH at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021. Reception immediately following.
