On June 7, 2024, Loretta left the earthly bonds to join her Eternal Savior, our Lord, in Heaven. Her passing here was peaceful and quiet, but knowing Loretta, there is now shouting, praising, and singing the likes of which we can only imagine.
She was known for her gentle and caring spirit, always available to provide wisdom and encouragement, and was quick with a humorous comment as she loved to laugh. Many lives over several decades were impacted by her generosity and love, and although we are saddened by not having her in our lives at present, we are joyful that she is now reunited with many whom she loved so much.
Loretta was never one to share the details of her own life, but always asked others to share everything they could about their lives, challenges, and accomplishments. Her humility was an inspiration to all who were blessed to know her. Her commitment to her Christian faith was unmistakable, reflected in her diligent study of the Bible, regular attendance at church and Sunday school, fervent sharing Christ's teachings with others, and compassionate counselling provided to those seeking support.
Loretta married her high school sweetheart on April 25, 1954 and only Jack's death on February 19, 2014 parted them. As a devoted wife, nurturing mother, cherished sister, doting aunt, affectionate grandmother, and proud great- grandmother, family was paramount in Loretta's life. She selflessly dedicated her time and energy, always prioritizing the needs of her loved ones above her own. Loretta embraced her friends, caregivers, and those in her inner circle as extensions of her family, showering them with the same love and care. We all count it a blessing to have had her in our lives.
