MARGARET "PEG" FERTONANI (nee Dzuro) of North Olmsted passed away August 12, 2016 after a long illness. Beloved wife of Richard. Born in Cleveland in 1931 to the late Joe and Emilia Dzuro. Sister of Edward Dzuro and the late Millie Scullion. Aunt and cousin of many. Margaret worked many years for Otis Elevator, Union Carbide, Nation's Business, and finally as a crossing guard for North Olmsted Schools. Margaret enjoyed her eight-acre farmstead in Ashland, OH where she helped work the field, drive tractors, cut grass, and plant fruit and shade trees, while also fixing up a 19th century farmhouse. She enjoyed going to country auctions and farm and estate sales with her husband. Margaret's witty sense of humor and sweet nature brought joy and laughter to all who knew her, especially children. She was a very giving and caring person who always looked out for others. Funeral Mass Monday, Aug. 15, St. Richard Church (26855 Lorain Rd.) at 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
