MARGARET "MAGGIE" ROBINSON (nee Broderick), age 97, passed away March 19, 2018. Maggie was born to Catherine (nee Mahon) and Patrick Broderick in Bridgeport, CT on May 18, 1920. Due to being in a military family, she called several towns and cities home. After losing her mother at an early age, she was raised by her aunts. She attended Manhattanville College of the Sacred Heart for a few years; during World War II, she enlisted in the Women's Army Air Corps where she met her future husband and love her life, "Rob" who was also serving in the Army at that time. They were married in London in 1945. Upon returning to the U.S. (Cleveland), they raised six children: five of their own and a niece. Maggie loved to read, quilt, garden, and could run a sewing machine with the best of them. In her later years, her favorite moments were spent with her cherished grandchildren. Her light will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Maggie was preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Catherine Broderick; loving husband, William "Rob"; darling daughter Candice; sisters Ruth, Mary Callan, and her brother Harold Broderick. She is survived by her sister Patricia Broderick; children Penny Lins (Larry), Greg (Stefanie), Mark (Leslie) and Tim (Faith); nine treasured grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass Friday, March 23, St. Mary Church (250 Kraft St., Berea) at 11:30 A.M. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of BEREA, 86 ADALBERT ST.
