MARIAN J. MROZ (nee Dunlap) of Avon, Ohio, was born September 5, 1933, in West Bloomfield, Michigan, and passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, at the age of 92. She was a devoted mother to Ted (Kathy Panizza), Paul (Leanne Buckner), Maggie, and Tom (Susan Jung). Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Harper Dunlap Sr. and Verda Secunda, and her siblings, Bonnie Byadiah, Harper Dunlap Jr., Nancy King, and Kelly Dunlap. Marian was a doting and playful grandmother to Tia, Kristen, Amelia, Zoe, Graham, Bodhi, Bailey, Brooke, and Thaddeus. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will remember her for her ready smile and love of all kinds of silliness. Marian attended Eastern Michigan University and worked at NASA's Glenn Research Center for decades as a public information specialist. Marian enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved road trips with her sisters. She delighted in ballroom dancing, singing, golfing, watching movies, and playing tennis. A creative and artistically gifted person, she was also known for baking incredible fruit pies - famously winning the Junior Cherry Pie Baking Contest at the Michigan State Fair. She will be dearly missed.
