Marjorie Ann Smego (nee Kirsch) was born in 1934 and raised in Nicktown, Pennsylvania. She passed on July 4, 2018 in her adopted home of Cleveland, Ohio, surrounded by her husband of 63 years, Paul Smego, and their three children, Daniel Smego (Michelle), Patrice Keating (James), and Glen Smego (Debra).   She is a loving and loyal grandmother to Amy Keating (David Lucas), Daniel Keating (Ashley), Cassandra Smego, Marissa Smego, and Christen Smego, and proud great-grandmother to Jameson and Mackenzie Keating.  She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Herman and Catherine Kirsch, and her sister Maxine Bender.  "Pud" is a cherished sister to her close-knit siblings, Sister Celine Marie Kirsch, R.S.M., Shirley (Charles, deceased) McNulty, Ronald (Rita) Kirsch, Reginald (Betty, deceased) Kirsch, Zelda (Thomas) Ochocki, Fr. Myron Kirsch, O.S.B. and Marilyn (Frank Cronin) Kirsch.  Marjorie will be remembered for her deep faith, devotion to family, strength in the face of difficulty and illness, fantastic sense of humor, and dedication as a sports fan.  She will be missed more than words can say.

A memorial mass will be celebrated in Nicktown, Pennsylvania with details to be determined.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Retirement for Religious Fund c/o National Religious Retirement Office, P.O.
