MARK E. SCHUETZ, age 63, beloved husband of 25 years to Paula (nee Gwinn); loving father of Emily (fiancee Kenneth Ernst) and stepfather of Steve Marshall (Erica) and Thomas Marshall (Brenda); loving and fun grandfather of Lucas, Cirilla, James and Anna; cherished son of the late Roberta Ann (nee Tollefson) and John E. Schuetz; loving uncle, great uncle, cousin and good friend and neighbor of many. Mark was born in the small town of Hiawatha, Kansas and moved to Olmsted Twp., OH as a young child. He is a graduate of Olmsted Falls High School, Class of 1977 and earned an accounting degree from Cleveland State University, Class of 1981. He spent his entire career in the greenhouse industry and was currently Greenhouse Manager at Maria Gardens. Mark previously worked at Buckeye Knoll, Nordlie, and Hall Gardens. He was a caring and reliable blood and platelet donor and a member of the Berea Kiwanis. He had a beautiful and strong tenor voice and sang with both St. Mary of the Falls Church and then the St. Mary of Berea Church choirs. Mark was an accomplished woodworker and knew how to use all tools. He built furniture and added on several additions to his homes, garages and sheds. He was such a fun and kind man to be around, had some wicked dance moves to disco music, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Passed away unexpectedly June 18, 2022.
