Marlene Kay Napier, 76, of North Eaton Twp., left this earthly realm on Saturday, December 3, 2022 after a long battle with Corticobasal Degeneration at home surrounded by her adoring family.
Marlene was born on November 14, 1946 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late James Leland Cogar and Mary Elizabeth (Campbell) Cogar. She was the oldest of eight children.
In 1964, she married her late husband Artie Ray Napier, Jr. and together they had four children, Kimberly Myers (Rick Myers) of Hinckley, Ohio, Michael Napier (Annette Fonte) of Olmsted Falls, Scott Napier (Tracy Spyker) of Massillon, Ohio, and Bradley Napier (Bobbie Napier) of Eaton Township. She has twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Marlene retired from Central Reserve Life, and dedicated her life to her family. She and her husband of 52 years, were snowbirds for over 20 years, spending many winters in Hudson, Florida. An accomplished seamstress, and overall artistic and creative mind found herself involved with many different projects over the years.
