MARLENE GAIL SHEPPARD (nee Schenck) beloved wife of 40 years to the late Charles R.; loving mother of Elizabeth Radtke (Randal) of North Royalton, Brenda Zimmer (Hans) of Cincinnati and Robert Sheppard of Westlake; cherished grandmother of Randy, Heidi, Marty and Bernadette (grandpuppy). Mrs. Sheppard was a public educator for 30 years. She graduated from John Marshall High School, she earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Ohio Wesleyan, Masters of Education Degree from Cleveland State and Doctorate of Education from Kent State. She was a member of Alpha XI Delta, Ohio Wesleyan, the International Society Delta Kappa Gamma Society for Key Women Educators and the Phi Delta Kappa Professional Fraternity in Education. She was an avid sewer, artist and lover of books. Passed away November 12, 2019. Funeral Mass Saturday, November 16, St. Bernadette Church (2256 Clague Rd.) at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery.
