MARTIN THOMAS GALVIN born April 14, 1969, passed away March 7, 2018, after a six year battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Tracy N. (nee Russell); loving father of Fiona Elizabeth and Thomas Martin; beloved son of Walter N. and Barbara A. ( nee Flanagan); beloved brother of Maureen Steindler (Ron), Mary Kathryn Ross, John Galvin, Patrick Galvin (deceased), Donna Galvin (Sean McCloskey), Joseph Galvin, Matthew Galvin (Claire) and Kevin Galvin (Catherine); beloved uncle, great-uncle, friend and colleague of many.
Marty took great pride in his vocation as an attorney at Reminger Co., LPA, where he built a great reputation as an outstanding appellate advocate. He zealously advocated on behalf of his clients and was highly regarded by his peers, as evidenced by multiple honors bestowed upon him. He practiced in both state and federal courts and participated in a case in front of the United States Supreme Court. He was a past president of the Lawyers' Guild of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and an active member of the Irish American Law Society of Cleveland.
His wife, Tracy, showed him unconditional love and support that never wavered throughout his fight. Through their love, came the two most beautiful gifts. Tommy and Fiona will forever be his BKE's (Best Kid Ever). They cherished and made the most of every moment together- watching games from Daddy's chair, subway adventures, valley trips and walks in the park with Clancy, putt putt outings, Sunday mass at St. Raphael's and he was always on the sidelines. He made the best breakfast in town and was chef and owner of Papa's Pizzeria. Although their years together have been cut short, the memories and his legacy will live on forever.
